The Beginning
BILONG was born from a vision to bridge two worlds: the time-honored craftsmanship of Eastern fabric artistry and the clean, serene aesthetics of Nordic design.
Our founder, Li Wei, grew up surrounded by the traditional art of fabric folding—a craft passed down through generations in his family. When he studied design in Copenhagen, he discovered a shared philosophy: that less is more, and that true beauty lies in simplicity and natural materials.
Today, every BILONG luminaire carries this dual heritage—honoring ancient techniques while speaking to contemporary sensibilities.
